How we Implement
and Document Independent Evaluations Services will typically
begin with an assessment to determine an individual learner’s or client’s needs. In some cases,
we may serve a classroom rather than an individual learner. In these cases the services provided will help
support school staff in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (aba) strategies to better support students.
To document our services, Home B.A.S.E. provides quarterly reports on our goals. |

Time Commitments Though Home B.A.S.E. consultants may ask to meet with families
and caregivers as part of an assessment for the learner, in general the time commitment for families or caregivers for IES
services is no different than the time commitment for the learner’s educational program. |

Funding Options Your local educational agency (school district, county office of education, or special education
local plan area) is the most likely to fund IES services. Regional Centers may also fund IES services in adult cases. You
may also pay privately for IES services with the cooperation of a private school, care facility or day program. |
