Welcome to Serenity Playscape    Serenity Playscape provides individualized, intensive, early intervention services guided by the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Intervention is provided directly by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)  in a warm, sunlit, natural home environment. Your child will flourish in a 1:2 ratio with a typically developing peer.
Our weekly curriculum includes activities such as  gardening, baking , watercolor painting, and simple household chores (sweeping, setting the table,  washing dishes etc.).  Each day provides time for “free play” both indoors and out.  During free play goals are targeted through child chosen activities.
Following a comprehensive assessment, your child’s individualized goals will be targeted in natural environments throughout the rhythm of our day. Focus of intervention will be on language/communication, social, play and self help skills. We believe that academic teaching should be delayed past the early years, as these years should focus on learning through play.  When your child gets ready to transition to their next educational opportunity, the focus of the program changes to ensure he will be prepared. Our program  has a focus on  the   rhythms of the year, week and day.  We celebrate seasons and observe festivals from different cultures through activities, wholesome organic meals, songs and stories.
	Serenity Playscape is a haven from the hectic and fast paced lifestyle of our times. As you step into our Home BASE, you are greeted with our natural sandbox, surrounded by tree stumps and a magical fairy house.   Inside our cozy home you will find several enchanting play areas featuring hand made wooden child sized furniture,  playstands displaying an array of natural, open ended toys and several reading and relaxation nooks.  Natural light filters into each room through  gauze and silk window coverings, hand dyed with soft natural colors.   Our largest play area opens to the back garden, blooming with organic flowers, herbs and fruit trees.
Morning Session: 9am-12pm Afternoon Session: 3pm-6pm 3 days per week: $1500 per month 5 days per week: $3000 per month   Serenity Playscape can often accommodate alternative schedules to those listed here, and always seeks to work with families to help make sure  their children have access to meaningful interventions
